I changed checking accounts and accidentally paid with my old acct number so it bounced. Went to pay the following month, and account was shut down at this point it was 32 days past due. Was offered to do a hard pull to reopen - was told my Fico of 705 was not good enough (mind you this was like an AMEX everyday starter card). Lost out on 12k MR points - but wasn't really savy about points back then. Since it was the lowest interest rate of any of my cards, I paid it off slowly and when it was at a 0 I was still blacklisted and got them to manually underwrite my Platinum app and they unblacklisted me.
