I heard that they only updated the mileage to reflect the new DIA relatively recently (last couple years?), and that for some time it was still reflecting the old Stapleton field distances.
UA didn't even know where their hub was!
Edited to add: I remember some flyertalkers who boo'ed the move since their particular flights shrunk by a few miles while other FT'ers were cheering as THEIR particular flights suddently got a few more miles credit.
