OMG, then the most amazing dessert platter...
The Chocolate and hazelnut Rocher cake was out of this world.

Wow ! You got quite the dessert plate. I guess you were very lucky to be alone in First class for sure !
Catering on AF first is definitely something beyond expectations. Their business class catering is average but First is something different !

What are the red icons on the map? There is one at LHR, AMS & CDG.
My guess is that those red icons provide you more information on the specific cities (fun facts, currency used, name of the country, type of climate etc...) You can see some of those facts showing up when the map is in auto scroll mode, but I think you can select each of those red icons to know more.
Thanks very much for this great TR as usual ! Quite an adventure you had ! La Première is certainly an amazing experience and I had the joy to enjoy it two years ago on a similar routing as yours : SFO-CDG-GRU in barely 48 hours (which reminds me that will be the next post of my RTW TR, I need to sort the pictures to publish). Having tried LH, LX, BA, CX and AA International First classes on lights of similar duration, I have to say that AF is the best from the moment you arrive at the airport until the moment you leave, with great staff and service all the way. I am happy to see they did not reduce the quality of the offering during COVID times, certainly the F mini lounge in CDG is less nice than the original one, but they still kept on the menu the delicious coquillettes pasta with truffle and comte, my favourite too ! Nice job AF.
