Any recent stays here? I need a couple of nights this spring in Madrid for sightseeing. Somewhat to my surprise, there aren't a lot of good options among the various chains to use my loyalty points.
I haven't stayed at either of the two Indigos in Madrid. Although, I have a points booking coming up for the other one (Indigo Princesa). Location does not seem ideal for sightseeing, but acceptable. On the plus side, I was getting okay-ish value for it (15k points per nights vs 99€).
Anyways, I would suggest looking into paying cash as well. Room rates are still considerably depressed in Madrid. And despite some chains now having dynamic redemption rates, these redemption rates haven't fallen as much as cash rates.
