I flew on a late-night flight one night -- I think it was ORD-BDL -- and there was an entire cabin crew for the next morning's flight deadheading on mine. Their duty day was something like 11 PM until 7 AM. I don't recall whether or not they managed to get hotels; I feel like the layover was a few minutes too short. (There's something in the FA contract that provides hotels for overnight duty periods if the time between flights is such-and-such).
