4/03/21 BUR-SEA AS 1411 MVP Did not clear

4/11/21 SEA-BUR AS 1150 MVP Upgrade cleared at T-12 hours

A couple of notes:

For AS 1411, I did not show on upgrade list on the app, and could not select a Premium Class seat. Sent a text to reservations, she tried, could not resolve, said she could see me on the list, but I would have to ask gate agent to fix. Gate agent was able to upgrade me to Premium Class. F went out full, but the plane otherwise had a very light load (739). I have no idea if I should have been in F ahead of the people who were there, or if the system worked properly.
AS 1150 was full (!). Pretty much everything but the middle seats in Premium were occupied on a 739. I cleared at 12 hours prior. Again, I never showed up on the list, and there were no Premium seats to select at check in (all full), so I was pretty surprised to get the upgrade.
The first BUR-SEA in the morning and the last SEA-BUR flight of the day are flights that start and end the flight attendant trips. Typically, these are bid by high seniority LAX domicile "Burbank based" flight attendant who do whatever trips start/end at BUR to avoid LAX. It is highly unusual for me to fly either of these flights and not recognize one or two of the F/As as "Burbank based." On both flights on this trip, I did not recognize any of the F/As and they were all thirties and younger. Perhaps the senior F/As are either out on voluntary COVID leave, or they took a buyout.
