Platinum is not the very first AmEx cards most people have. It is the most expensive card for common people. So most AmEx cardholders would not be using Platinum card as the main driver. When they get the needs for Platinum card, they would probably already have other AmEx cards.
It has no spending bonus other than air ticket. Even the no fee Everyday cards earn more MR points than the Platinum card.
I have never mentioned road warriors, I said Amex has the data they need. I mentioned Platinum card holders, that is different. You aren't making sense to me, sorry.
