Can’t help you there, but I have another suggestion. If you don’t need AAA for roadside assistance, you should be able to buy a cheaper membership that covers all the other AAA privileges. My car is covered for 5 yrs of roadside assistance by the manufacturer, so I bought the bare minimum CAA membership for C$20/yr for all the discounts and other promos they offer. I can easily extract more than $20/yr of value from it.
