We all have the right to be secure in our person. Our bodies should be secure from molestation. Accordingly, those who make unwelcome contact with other people's private parts should be charged and jailed.


Oh, did you mean anti-terrorism measures? I think security implies finding the plotters before they get to the checkpoint with a bomb, since the bad guys could obviously cause mass casualties and untold economic damage by setting off a large device in a crowded airport before they ever reach the metal detectors. Checkpoints don't fix anything, they're a red herring. We already have a RAND study showing that at LAX the checkpoints have caused a major terrorism vulnerability.
