A quick update from a recent stay last month. We used 2 x 35K certificates (there was a promo with a lower rate) to stay from Sunday to Tuesday and used 2 SNA to further upgrade to the Boardwalk Junior Suite (room 225).

• We didn't pay $33 valet since it's pretty easy to find a parking spot on the street during the week. We did move the car once since you can't park at the same spot for multiple days.
• The platinum breakfast was decent with the hot food option. But there were only 2 choices, bento box or American Classic. Breakfast burrito WAS NOT INCLUDED in the platinum breakfast selection. You can eat the restaurant patio or take it to go. It did come with a choice of tea or coffee, no juice.
• We didn't use the pool since it's pretty cold & windy even during the day. The pool was pretty small.
• Both the jacuzzi and gym (tiny) were closed.
• The room was a decent size and the view was good. The regular size fridge, real microwave and a full-size dining room table helped to eat meals in the room. We were on the 2nd floor. Better if you can get the third floor room.
• Papi's Grill (1090 Price St, Pismo Beach, CA 93449) was one of the best tacos we had and we had some amazing tacos since we lived in Southern Calf. The butter beef taco was out of this world!
• Overall a pleasant stay since we were able to use the 35K certificates (usually the lowest is 40K). Otherwise it is very pricy in terms of points or paid ($350+) rate to stay in a room that's facing the parking lot if it is full or not able to use the SNA.
