I think before Alaska joined oneworld, flights had to be marketed and operated by AA and they didn't count codeshares. Would you earn the same amount of miles if flying AA or JAL as AA codeshare?
I don't know the exact earning for AS. But the principle of Oneworld is that earning is based on the marketing carrier so if you book JAL under an AA code, you have to look under the AA earning table, if you book it with a JL code in the JL earning table.
