I'll just use my PP pass in Vegas at one of their lounges if I'm traveling with someone and if I'm flying solo my reserve card will get me into any of the lounges since I only fly Delta.

I totally understand this change though. After Delta made the change to no guests a few years ago it really helped with the congestion in the busier clubs.

I'm surprised they are allowing Reserve cardholder's access if overcrowding is such an issue but glad they did, that was one of the best enhancements they made to the reserve card outside of the four MQM boosts.
I just do not think the new proposal is going to change much. Very likely AmEx will hand out some free lounge vouchers. So everyone can enjoy the lounges since all cardholders paid the AFs.

That is part of the liquor law. Airport lounges serve alcohol drinks. No underaged people can go into the lounges un-supervised by adult(s).

I think alcohol is what drives most of those "road warriors" to the AmEx lounges. Not the food and coffee..
