In our experience, it's almost never necessary to actually go to the counter at an aisle location despite what the app or website says. The booth attendants can do just about everything that the counter agents can do for EC members.

Our recommendation is to simply select your vehicle as you prefer and then head to the exit both with it. The worst that happens is that they'll send you inside, but we highly doubt that will be the case.
