I'm 6'4 (and cute ) and I have found a way around the "missing inches" in NCW: ask for a window seat on the upper-deck (64A or K is best and row 62 is fine too). Since there is no row behind you, when you lie on your side, you can stretch you legs on the window bins which are conveniently of the same height as your seat when fully flat.
