Agreed - HKG has had my favorite F&B of any Cent. Maybe I just went at the right time!

I think this is really likely. You could almost think of this as a sales strategy for new cards if limited passes were given out and used on coworkers or business partners. I'd actually imagine that the portion who hit $75k are much larger than expected - there's a ton of non-FT folks out there who don't seek to optimize their spend across cards.
