Question about seat allocation and inflight service buffet

Hi there,

I will be flying on AF 83 SFO-CDG in Y and crediting this flight to my AF Frequence + account. I would love to sit on one of the bulkhead seats but unfortunately I have no status with AF. However, I have status under NW as a Silver Elite which makes me Skyteam Elite. I don't know if anyone has tried this but can I have AF input my NW account in the record to reserve the seats that I want and later replace it with the AF acct at the airport? Once the seats are reserved, can the system delete the pre-assigned seats if a new account with no status is entered in the PNR? It would be easier if I just leave my NW acct but unfortunately I must credit it to AF in order to revalidate my F+ account.

My second question is regarding the "buffet" in Y. This flight is over 10 hrs 30 minutes so it meets the criteria for this service. Could anyone who has flown this route or similar one from LAX comment on what is offered onboard in the galley? chips, cookies or more substantial items like sandwiches and ice cream?
