Out of curiosity : 30 kg is very heavy for a bicycle.

If it is an electric one, don't forget that transportation of batteries is subject to a whole raft of restrictions (basically anything bigger than a laptop battery can't be transported on a passenger flight).
If that is your situation, let us know how it went. I might be interested for a future trip myself (I'm not getting any younger).
