Just a clarification that if the OP plans to do a stopover ( transfer over 24h ), TK would not check for the requirements for his final destination as they would be unable to check the OP to his final destination. If the OP is staying longer than 24 hours in IST, his documents would be checked at IST when he would recheck for his onwards flight.
