We also aren't interested in the Hyatt, as we don't have status there. We have 8 reservations at the Sheraton Tribeca right now, basically every holiday weekend into next spring, all at good prices. Unsure if we should book backups (no idea where, this is the only property we have stayed at in 3 years in NYC) or hope they transfer us to another Bonvoy property at a similar category level
I replied to my cancelation email and asked... It is now officially cancelled and no longer shows in my reservations. I would book alternates.
I lived in NYC for 15 years and now go back (used to pre covid) monthly. I like the Moxy East Village a lot. Good location, great vibe, well priced....rooms are small but it's new york and you aren't there to stay in your room, right? The four points on Platt Street is also solid, but it's downtown if that bothers you.
