I wish to travel EU/UK to Bali on Business class in December, I am OneWorld Emerald... with a bicycle in a bag, that weighs approx 32kg, size (W x H x D): 143 x 84 x 42
Having looked at flights, with business on Qatar I can travel with 40kg, plus my OWE allowance makes that 60kg..... but it doesn't seem to increase the dimensions of the bag, or allow a second bag?

Using the Qatar Airways website (https://www.qatarairways.com/en/baggage/excess.html) the chart says the cost of the bicycle will be $1250USD because it is 32kg and above 217cm in L+W+D...... is this all correct????

However, if i book the same flights eg. LGW-DPS... using BA.com, I can fly with 2x 32kgs (plus one for Emerald) AND with an increase in dimensions (https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb...orts-equipment)

I just want to get a clear understanding of things, and confirm what I've looked up.....
