I believe it will be open spring of 2022, but last year summer 2020, I thought things would be open Spring 2021 and at the moment I don't think anything will be open until late fall of this year. They have already said no to tourists for the Olympics this summer. I believe, if you are vaccinated, your chances will increase tremendously. I believe things will open in general for Japan once 80-90% of the population is vaccinated and Japan just started and it's going slow, but there is hope it will increase once other countries have finished and more vaccines can be moved to Japan.
