I don't begrudge the hotel for having paid seating, but what I do have an issue with is paid seating sitting empty when hotel guests can't find anywhere to sit. After no success finding seating on the first day and only spending a short time at the pool, being on Midwest time worked in our favor the second morning and we got out there at 7:00 AM to stake out our spot, but this was a terrible look for the hotel.
Agreed. We were there the Saturday before Easter and the place was packed. There was a line on the sheet that gave us about chairs being spread out for social distancing, which has to be one of the most laughable things I have heard. The chairs are absolutely packed together, especially in the reserved section. We finally found two chairs by just waiting and watching for someone to leave. As mentioned, there were plenty of empty chairs marked reserved. If you have any Covid concerns at all, this is not the place for you.
