I have a similar issue with my BA number. When I look at the seat availability before choosing a flight then the Alaska / Oneworld Elite section is wide open but when I go to purchase and enter my BA number then everything is shown as unavailable or occupied. I am sure it's just teething issues that will sort themselves out in due course but it's a little frustrating.
