Because it looks like in the latter half of August, the fares go up over $2500 and in September, they're over $3000.


Are the sub $2000 fares all gone? Of course we know the schedules in the summer and beyond are all tentative anyways. But either the airlines are pricing higher later in the summer than June and July because they think travel restrictions will be lifted by then or people have made actual bookings for late August and into September, driving the prices up.

At least that would be how things normally operate right, greater demand drives up prices or the airlines forecast demand to go up? But in these uncertain times, it's maybe more of a crapshoot?
