Also weird is that I live in NYC and walk/run past this hotel semi-regularly. It’s definitely got people staying there. Could be using it for medical staff or something as I know they did at one point last year. But it isn’t completely closed.
Could this be one of the hotels housing homeless people?
We also aren't interested in the Hyatt, as we don't have status there. We have 8 reservations at the Sheraton Tribeca right now, basically every holiday weekend into next spring, all at good prices. Unsure if we should book backups (no idea where, this is the only property we have stayed at in 3 years in NYC) or hope they transfer us to another Bonvoy property at a similar category level
