They said that they were only putting people into the Vineyard side. The Vineyard side is, in my mind, much nicer for privacy and better view. They seemed fully booked for the building that was open, which I attribute the lack of upgrade to. In hindsight, I should have tried to apply a TSU.

Restaurant is open for breakfast and "All Day Bites" - ample seating outdoors if you’re not yet ready for indoor dining (though indoor dining was open). They were happy to make substitutions for dietary restrictions. However, the current menu is fairly limited - sandwiches and salads. If you’re looking for a big splashy Napa Valley meal, they’re not set up for it right now.

Pool is open with a beautiful view and heated to 80 degrees+, with an array of nice basking chairs and conversation areas.

For Globalist: Globalist noted at check in - but no Welcome gift. No free bottle water in room for 1st night, then multiple free Alila bottled water in room. I asked for, and was granted 2 pm late checkout. Breakfast was proactively taken off at check out, which was nice instead of having to fight for it - it was whatever we'd ordered.

All in all, liked my stay, especially compared with Hyatt Carmel Highlands - Carmel Highlands doesn't even have a vending machine or ice! It's not quite as "luxe" as Alilia Ventana, but was a different experience. It was nicer than Andaz Napa - I liked having a pool, the view was better.
OT but Andaz Napa has a small outdoor pool. It's on the side of a deck on about the second floor.
