T1 is for international too. On departure (like all uk airports) there is no exit passport control. On arrival there is passport control but coming from LHR you bypass it. When you enter the building from the bus you go through a small baggage hall, then right in to a larger one. In the larger one you have international passengers too and if you look towards the back the immigration desks are just beyond the stairs.
Got it. thanks, I have only ever flown out of the UK from LHR/LGW so only familiar with how they work from a Terminal perspective. Manchester for me is a domestic route only and normally from T3.
In hindsight silly question about departing border control. Doh!!
Do you know if T2 at MAN has domestic arrivals section then? talk of BA re-locating there.
