About a week ago I was directed to the relatively new Platinum lounge (near Gate 17) as a *G in Y.

The lounge is towards the eastern end of the new terminal.


Lounge Entrance

Just past the entrance. Showers/toilets are to the left.

Bar area. The Piano is a nice touch. TVs still have not been mounted.

Food area - further away from the lounge entrance - people are sleeping throughout the lounge on sofas.

Right across from the main buffet area. Looking towards the entrance (away from landside)

A nice view of the Addis skyline. The Skylight hotel is visible from here too

Hot Buffet area - a mix of Ethiopian and western breakfast items on offer.

I had to rush to catch my flight, but overall it's a nice improvement over what was there before!
