If you've got a hard earned aisle bulkhead seat, I wouldn't give it up either. Now if I'm asked to move from 23 aisle to 18 aisle-- sure! But then again, if I'm being asked to move next to someone with a screaming baby--no go. On a recent trip I was seated in my fav 1A seat, when I was asked to move to row 3A. In 3B was a woman with a crying baby. I said no, I'd prefer to stay where I was, the woman in 3B didn't want to move as she had all her stuff in the seat in front of her, and was trying to get the baby to sleep. So, long story short--the couple was split up, both were mad at me, and the FA kept giving me glaring looks.
