Interesting one on a b2b this morning which I have never seen before, Cabin Crew operated as normal on both sectors, but there was an older gentleman watching them on both sectors with a clip board and blue jacket (not really high-vis) with British Airways on the back. He appeared to point certain things out to them and went up and down the aisle a few times, but otherwise stayed in the galley. With crew possibly coming back from furlough are there service checks being undertaken on the job?

The blue tabard wearing crew member is an onboard safety evaluator (OSE). They're monitoring the senior cabin crew member and other members of crew that they're fulfilling a certain level of safety and security to CAA standards in their duties. They're purely there to monitor and aren't otherwise an active member of the cabin crew.
