The US may change the dynamics in the short term since they are going to allow US corporations to bring home retained earnings in foreign subs at a very low tax rate. I assume therefore that these companies will be buyers of US and sellers of other currencies which may buoy up the US currency in the short term. Until this plays out, I for one, would not be a big player in this market trying to determine direction.
