Was this the HIX that's several miles from downtown and the river, near a big highway intersection and not too far from some big box chain stores, fast food paces, and a couple informal family style chain restaurants?

If so, the Marriott family limited service hotel (Fairfield Inn?) in downtown Fairbanks has a much better location.
