I stayed here in September during the height of Covid. A lot of good things to say.

-Front desk seems to be excited to be working at a new property. The staff in general is very nice and warm. To be fair, that was my general experience in MT and WY hotels. People are nice here.
-Location is great for certain people. Do you need an overnight stop on the way to Yellowstone? Great. Do you want to stay 3 nights and do some hiking around the area? Good choice. Just know what you're getting into here. Livingstone is a small little town about 5 minutes drive from here. Good food and crowd, though. If you want some small town Montana vibes and hiking, this is a great property.
-Gym is very nice for this size of a property.
-The rooms are very new, but a bit small. Not a deal breaker, but if you are expecting Home 2 Suites levels of space, it ain't that.
-We didn't get to hit the pool, but it looked nice.
-Breakfast situation during Covid was....adequate. You basically get a sack breakfast to go. Not great. Compared to the other properties I've been to during Covid, I'd give it a 6/10.
-I wouldn't pay $300 a night here. I think it was $130 or something. Great deal.

I was sitting in the lobby one morning eating my sack breakfast and a very very rude man approached the desk and starting complaining about a charge for a pet. Apparently, his position was that his pet was a service dog and they legally can't charge him for that, but the front desk clerk said that he didn't provide them with any documentation and they would have to charge. The guy was frankly being a total jerk. He was so mean that I actually got up and apologized for him later. I have been borderline rude to a desk worker before, but this was absolutely awful abuse and she handled it pretty well. I understand that sometimes you need to be more firm about your demands, but using the language and tone this guy did....I'm impressed they didn't ask him to leave.
