I've been living in Marriott hotels for the past 6 months or so. Last month went to 5 different properties and got very good upgrades at all of them (suites or villas). The only issue I'm having is problems with IT with stay lengths changing depending on who extends the stay (myself or front desk).

I think within Asia properties are way more liberal with upgrades and benefits in general.
