The toughest part about going to Hawaii recently has been the ginormous line to check your test documents when you arrive. I waited 90 minutes once and 45 minutes once.

Today at OAK they have a desk to check your documents before you depart. Then you can enter Hawaii speedily like AS and UA passengers have been able to do for months. This is a very welcome development.

The desk is in the long hallway between T1 and T2. Today it had one short line for HNL and another for OGG.
