In western CA at least, the govt has mandated stricter lockdown conditions within the last few days, they blame the rise on the UK variant, although they've discovered more P1s in one hospital lab in the province than have been found in the whole of the US. They've also just halted AZ for under 55's, which doesn't help with their bumbling vax program.

Hi,

If i recall correctly, the colours were used when the UK had travel corridors in place ( before late 2020/early 2021) since when it has been replaced with the need to self isolate/hotel isolation and testing for all arrivals.

Yellow- UK base line
Green- No need for self isolation
Orange- Isloation requirements varies between the 4 nations of the UK ( and maybe some islands of the countries concerned)
Red-Need for self isolation

Regards
