I’ll do what I need to do to ensure that’s over 100k if they count 21’s miles towards MVPG100 in 2022. I guess we will know sometime this summer. But going forward in 2022 I’m going to need to learn from more savvy folks like you on how to use OW discounted yet “EQM friendly” promo flights to build it up in 2022. We should have a one world mileage run sticky thread on this forum.
There already exists a forum here for mileage run deals (and premium fare deals). You just have to look for the threads that involve OW airlines. But honestly, cheap AS first fares are still probably the best venue to rack up EQMs quicker than normal. As most other airlines' discounted first/business fares earn 150% EQMs as well. The one that seems the most generous is for BA in first. As the F/A fares earn 300%/250% EQMs respectively. Plus, you earn a ton of FF miles on those fares (500%/450% respectively, in addition to one's elite bonus). But finding a sub-$3000 first fare is what is considered a great deal. On the other hand, the airlines that earn 150% EQMS for even the lowest premium economy tickets, is probably the best chance to find great fares occasionally and boost your EQM totals outside of AS earnings.
