A credit certificate is not the same as a wallet credit. Would that be correct? A credit certificate would be for travel only in the name of the holder. A wallet credit can be used for any passenger. There is still verbage on the AS website that calls out a $125 cancellation fee. When I have cancelled itineraries recently (there have been many) and requested wallet funds it still shows that the cancellation fee is waived because of my status.

But am I correct is understanding that the credit certificate lasts longer than a wallet credit? If I buy a ticket now and have to cancel it, which option gives me the longest time to use it?
