After experiencing this issue earlier and raising it with IHG Customer Care and in several online forums, it seems that IHG has made the conscious decision to remove Apple Wallet functionality in its entirety. I was hoping that with their rebrand and new image, they'd launch a new app to re-introduce Wallet functionality and rollout keyless/mobile entry to bring them into the present/in line with the new contactless COVID reality, but... it's IHG. All we got was the old app with a new logo on it with plenty of appearances of the old logo, mentions of "IHG Rewards
Club" and the same old nonsense [i.e. no landscape mode on tablet] in the same lazy early 2000s design.
I'm hoping they're working on a totally new app integrating all these expected functionalities, but I think it's best not to hold our breaths.
