I thought that the IHG Creation card was one of those that regularly gets abused by Curve MS-ing. (in small-ish amounts)
Which has nothing to do with your question, but you can easily earn enough IHG points to cover the £99 fee. And IHG Platinum is probably more valuable than Hilton Silver.
