I called B of A to ask about product changing my Mastercard World Points card today; after quite a delay, I was given several choices, but decided not to do so. Leaning strongly towards re-allocating most of that credit line to my two new cards (which okay, but not great, limits) instead.
I am doing anything I can to get more Cash Rewards type cards. I currently have Komen, MLB, General CR, and a University one. Which gives me $10,000 of spend every quarter for the 5.25% bonus. Once I am allowed (by their rules) to apply for another card I will do one of the other CR type options. If I could change that old Amex to a CR I would in a heart beat. I don't care too much about the credit limits, mine range on the 6 BOA cards I have from $2,600 to $19,600. I pay them off each month.
