I've never heard of that company, but this 20% withholding is sketchy as heck, because that doesn't sound like it's coming from AC.
Do you still have your AC PNR (booking reference)? You might want to try pulling it up on the AC website and see if it gives you an indication of value. Since you purchased the ticket through a TA, it's probably not going to let you convert the credit to a voucher online (although with how glitchy the AC website is, you might get lucky), but at least it might give you some comfort that, from AC's perspective, the credit is all there.
