I stayed here quite recently and also was offered dinner in the restaurants in lieu of the club lounge benefit, but in my case it was useless because I had dinner plans outside. I asked whether they would allow me to take lunch instead of dinner, but I was told it's dinner or nothing. Maybe I'll send friends in my place next time
Dinner is not a full substitute for the missing lounge in any case, at least for me, since I tend to visit the club lounge throughout the day to grab water and coffee, and also work in the lounge when I am bored of my room. In that sense, it would have been nice if they had arranged for soft drinks / coffees in the lobby lounge in lieu of the club lounge.
Otherwise, it was fine - I only had an upgrade to a high floor Garden View room, as the hotel was very full and suites were sold out. I would visit the hotel more if it was a better location, but Healthcare City is a little out of the way for my usual destinations in Dubai. For Globalists, it's probably the best overall value for money Hyatt in Dubai, given that Park Hyatt runs for significantly higher rates these days, and the Regencies are not particularly appealing either.
