Regarding the April 5th announcement, companies like Tui and Jet2 really need to be committing to block bookings for hotels, getting aircraft/crews back on line and so on. April 5th is already very late for for sorting out these things and there is a strong chance they would not be able to do it even with a delay of only a week. I think they will be looking for enough from the government to be able to sign some contracts and continue to sell their holidays (which they have already been doing quite aggressively). Also, the news may leak out if the government sits on the report for too long anyway.
