It's probably just a typo but...
In terms of bulky items, as per the
sticky (and every experience I've had for the past 10+ years) "
Larger items of up to 190cm x 75cm x 65cm (75in x 29.5in x 25.5in) can be carried as over-sized items".
However, using skis and snowboards next winter as an example, ba.com currently says "
You can take skiing or snowboarding equipment as part of your checked baggage so long as the bag is within the maximum bag dimensions", which aren't specifically defined on the same page, but appear elsewhere as the standard suitcase size of 56 x 45 x 25cm.
Perhaps I'm being paranoid, but
Googling "190 x 75 x 65 site:britishairways.com" also returns very few results; none of them in English and most of them appearing unformatted, as if on a long-forgotten webpage.
Shurley some mishtake...?
