That is true, reliability is a big issue. I should have put it as reliability instead of route network in the video. Because I think it is not just an airline flies to many places, but also how many frequencies it flies. I would be much more at ease knowing that my KRT-DXB flight is operated by EK instead of something like SD.
Safety is more for people out of the aviation circle, I say. We here all know flying is insanely safe, even for lesser-known and not-as-reputable airlines. comparing a 0.001% accident rate to 0.002% accident rate is trivial because you are unncecessarily perpetuating a fear of flying, which no ft-er will ever want in the public right?
