I would be very annoyed, being asked for a membership card at breakfast. I never carry mine with me. Providing your name and room number should be all that's needed at breakfast.
That you were given sparkling water in your room, might just be a translation issue. I've never heard of 'soft water' (other than in the context of my household water softener which removes calcium, lime and other minerals to stop mineral build-up on plumbing fixtures), but I could see how someone might associate the word 'soft water' with a 'soft drink', which typically means 'with carbonation'. I would have asked for 'flat' or 'still' water. They probably gave you what they understood to be your request.
I would also give them a pass on the turn-down service. I thought that service was suspended across all Accor hotels, when they went to housekeeping services in guestrooms only every third day, as part of their 'All Safe and Well' COVID safety protocols. I don't even want them entering my room at all during my stay, for everyone's safety.
As for location, well, if it was a bad location for you, then why book it? As you said, it's a good location for business purposes. Business just wasn't the purpose of your trip, nor would it be my purpose when I travel, but it may well be the purpose for many visitors.
