I’ve dined from the ottoman in BA F. I wouldn’t call it comfortable but as others have said it’s OK for 30 minutes or so. The reason I do it is that the pace of service is often different between the two aisles. This way we can truly dine together vs me receiving my main while my companion is still on the amuse-bouche. The amuse-bouche had been enhanced away even before Covid so that takes care of that problem...
