This is going to blow your mind... but Cathay wasn't the launch customer for Zodiac Cirrus.
It was US Airways (well before the AA merger, when they were firmly in *A as United's smaller, considerably lesser USA-based partner). Not exactly who would come to mind when you think about industry-leading business class products.
