Black out dates now show no redemtion for club. If I wished to pay full fare then seats are available in Club. Can I buy a WT ticket and upgrade with 50,000 miles to get in to NCW, or will they not allow it as they have blackout dates for mileage? I was just wondering if I could get around it this way to save paying full fare.

You can only upgrade 1 class so if this route has WT+ ( Sorry I am not sure if it has) you will need to buy a WT+ ticket, to upgrade to Club. ( That will be 25 k miles).
Up grades are taken from award availability so the award in club will also have to be available.
